Does MapQuest still offer better multi-stop route planning than Google Maps?

I’m currently researching tools that can help with planning efficient mapquest directions driving routes with multiple stops — for delivery runs, road trips, or even sales visits. I remember that MapQuest used to be really strong in this area, allowing users to enter numerous stops and automatically optimize the route for time or distance.

Google Maps limits multi-stop inputs and doesn’t always optimize them unless you're manually adjusting the order. That’s why I’m wondering if MapQuest is still ahead when it comes to route optimization for 10+ destinations.

If you’ve used both recently, I’d love to know:

How many stops does MapQuest actually support now?

Is the optimized route feature accurate and useful?

How easy is it to edit or rearrange stops?

Does it integrate well with mobile devices during the trip?

I’m open to suggestions for other tools too — but trying to avoid expensive fleet software or apps with steep learning curves. Thanks in advance for your insights!
